Day 1. Hometown to Beijing(In flight meal)
Overnight flight to Beijing.

Day 2. Arrive in Beijing
Upon arrival, you will be greeted by our tour guide and transferred to your luxurious hotel.

Day 3. Beijing(American Breakfast, Lunch, Special Dinner)
Your first "official" stop is at Tiananmen Square. The Forbidden City had been the imperial palace for China from the Ming Dynasty to the end of the Qing Dynasty. That's a span for about 5 centuries. It is regard as the largest collection of preserved ancient wooden structures on the earth. The Summer Palace is where the emperors prevent the sunstoke during summer months. Dinner will be served with a fabulous Pecking Duck Banquet.

Day 4. Beijing(AB, L, D)
Day 4. Beijing (American Buffet Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
The Great Wall of China is one of the great man-made wonders in the world and has inspired people for thousands of years. Next you will behold the National Stadium "Birds Nest" and the National Aquatics Center--"Water Cube". At Beijing Zoo you will observe the "family values" of the world--famous Giant Pandas. After your dinner, enjoy "Legend of Kungfu Show". It captures the ancient ritual of combat.

Day 5. Beijing/Xi'an(AB, L, D)
Today you will visit the Hutong in a very traditional Chinese way: By rickshaw. Then visit the exotic Lotus Flower. Later in the day, we board a flight to Xi'an, which is the starting point of the historic Silk Road. After dinner, you will experience part of the cultural diversity in China--Great Mosque.

Day 6. Xi'an(AB, L, SD)
Xi'an, the former capital of China and enjoys a rich 5000 years old history. In 221 BC, Qin Shi Huang unified China and became the first emperor. After he died, an entire Terra Cotta Army was constructed to be buried along with the emperor. It was uncovered in 1974 by a farmer, and then became one of the century's great archeological discoveries. We will visit the Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses Museum, followed with a stop at the Bell Tower. Thereafter, we will enjoy an Imperial Dumpling Banquet and shortly after watch the world famous Tang Dynasty Stage Show.

Day 7. Xi'an/Lhasa(AB, SL, D)
To finish up your tour in Xi'an, you will take a visit to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, the ancient city wall is probably better preserved than the Great Wall, bicycle will be available for you to ride and absorb Xi'an's unique ambiance. Then depart Xi'an for Lhasa by air, which stands at an altitude of 11,450 feet above the sea level. That puts it among the highest cities in the world.

Day 8. Lhasa(AB, L, SD)
Today you will join the pilgrims from around the world in visiting the Potala Palace which had been the residence of the Dalai Lama for centuries. Then you will make an abrupt switch to the Barkhor Street Bazaar which is part stock exchange, part shopping horn of plenty. After this visual feat there will be a more traditional Tibetan dinner and show.

Day 9. Lhasa(AB, L, D)
Today you will experience the Jokhang Temple, as well as The Sera Monastery dates back to 1419. Next will be an in-person encounter with an actual Tibetan Family. You will have the opportunity to find out how life in Tibet is lived on an everyday basis.

Day 10. Lhasa/Chongqing/Yangtze Cruise(AB, L, SD)
Fly to Chongqing, which served as China's wartime capital during the Second Sino-Japanese War(1937-1945). If time permits, you will have a stop at the Ciqikou Old Street. Enjoy Hot Pot dinner tonight. Later in the day, head to the dockes where President Prime awaits to take you on the highly anticipated Yangtze adventure.

Day 11. Cruise on Yangtze River(AB, L, SD)
The first shore excursion today will be "Ghost City" Fengdu, which contains numerous statues of devils and ghosts that roam the afterworld. Fengdu modal after the Chinese Hell in Taoist mythology, built over 1800 years ago. In the evening, join the Capital's Welcome Dinner Party.

Day 12. Cruise on Yangtze River(AB, L, D)
Sail through Qutang Gorge and Wu Gorge. Disembark at Wushan where you board small riverboat for a leisurely ride through Shennong Stream, which offers clear running waters, picturesque rock formations, and even monkeys and goats along its banks. Drifting along the Shengnong Stream in sampan is the unique way experiencing the beauty of the Shengnong Stream. You will pass through the Shiplock of the new three gorges dam.

Day 13. Yichang/Shanghai(AB, L, D)
You disembark to visit the massive Three Gorges Dam Project in the morning. The ship sail through Xiling Gorge, the longest one of the Three Gorges. Disembark at Yichang, the terminus of our memorable Yangtze Cruise; you board a flight to Shanghai.

Day 14. Shanghai(AB, L, SD)
After soaking up the more commercial aspects of Shanghai on Old Street, Nanjing Road, and Lujiazui Financial Area, you will step back in time at the Shanghai Museum. The Bund is the symbol of financial power of China. In the evening you join the farewell dinner with Shanghai Cuisine. Followed with the famous Acrobatic Show.

Day 15. Shanghai/Hometown(AB)

A: Yes, the land only price is $600.00 /person based on double occupancy. For solo passenger, single supplement of $420 will apply. You need to arrange your own flights into Beijing and out of Shanghai.
3. Q: Which airlines do you use? And what is the flight schedule?
A: We will fly with China Eastern Airlines. Please contact us for detailed flight schedules. Please note, flight schedules is subject to change on the will of the airlines. Our bottom line is to arrange a flight that departs and returns to JFK on the date as stated on the itinerary.

5. Q: Do I need a visa to visit China? How long does it take? How much does it cost? How do I obtain China Visa? Can we do that through you?
A: Yes, all U.S. citizens are required to obtain the Chinese visa before entering into China. If you go to the Chinese consulate and apply in person, normally it will take 4 business days. Chinese Consulate will charge you $140/passport for U.S. Passports as of now. Price is subject to change by Chinese Consulate without further notice. If you want us to apply for the visa for you, we charge $29/passport service fee. If you need our service, please contact our agents at 1-800-410-4111 for detailed information.
6. Q: Are there any other hidden fees?
A: All the extra fees are listed clearly on livingsocial's webpage for this promotion.

7. Q: Do I tip in China?
A: The service fee of $6/person/day is required for the tour guides and drivers. $3/person for half day's service or an airport transfer. It will come to a total of $48/person for the whole trip. If you are very satisfied with the tour guides and drivers, they will always be grateful for your extra gratuity.
8. Q: What is the price for children? How do I purchase the tour for them?
• Children at age of 2-12 will get 10% of the promotional price provided the tour is booked directly through us.
• Infants under 2 years old: 30% of adult price, plus all tax and fees.
9. Q: What does single supplement mean? How much is it?
A: Our tour prices are based on two travelers sharing one hotel room. If you are traveling alone or occupy one hotel room, you need to pay for the other half of the room. This is what we called "single supplement". It's $420.
10. Q: I want to save on single supplement charge. Can you find a roommate for me?
A: We will try to find a roommate for you. If we cannot find you a roommate before your departure date, the forcec single supplement of $420.00 will apply.
11. Q: Are the rooms and buses non-smoking?
A: Yes, we only book non-smoking rooms and buses for our groups.
12. Q: Can I leave the group and do my own activities?
A:It's not allowed for anyone to leave the group. If you want to leave the group, an operating fee will be charged on spot.

A: China now is 15 hours ahead of us (west coast).

A: No. Casual clothes would be perfectly fine for the whole trip. :)
20. Q: Where can I exchange US dollar to Chinese Yuan? Would it be better to get Chinese currency in the United States? Instead of taking American money to exchange, is it good to take American travelers checks ?
A: Please take US dollars in cash with you. $400/person should be enough depends on what items you want to buy. You can exchange the dollars at Beijing airport or hotel front desks. No need to do exchange in the U.S. Do not bring traveler's checks, they are not widely accepted in China.
21. Q: How do i pay for the special dinners and shows? Can I use my credit card to pay for things I buy in China?
A: Please pay the special dinner & shows to tour guide in US dollars cash or Chinese¥ cash. If you want to purchase some items at big stores, shopping malls, supermarkets etc., major credit cards such as Master, Visa are widely accepted.
22. Q: I need to use hair dryer everyday. Do I need to bring my own hair dryer?
A: All the hotels has a hair dryer in the room. You do not need to bring your own hair dryer.
23. Q: Can I bring my laptop with me? How can I get access to internet?
A: Yes, you can bring a laptop with you while traveling. But always be careful with your personal belongings. All the hotels have free wifi at the lobby, some even in the rooms.
