Is This Trip Right for You?

This is an active trip. Our small group covers a lot of ground each day, and we spend two to three hours on our feet during tours. The pace is fast. We have many early mornings and long bus rides necessary to cover the territory. Some of our tours require walking over uneven surfaces or up and down steep slopes or steps. This tour is not recommended for people who have difficulty walking. This is a Group Tour program. For more information, please consult with our travel advisors.

Day 1 Home- Nairobi, Kenya
Board your international flight bound for Africa from your select international gateway.

Day 2 Arrival in Nairobi, Kenya
Welcome to Nairobi, the capital city of Kenya since its independence in 1963, and with the biggest metropolitan population of over 9 million. The name of this city comes from the Maasai language which associates it with the meaning of "cool water" fittingly because the Nairobi River flows through the city. Nairobi was founded as a British colony in 1899 and grew to become the center and rail port on the Africa continent for coffee and tea. Today, modern Nairobi has expanded its trade beyond these commodities and has become a key financial and manufacturing center in Africa. Upon arrival, guests will be met and greeted at the airport and then will be transferred to the hotel for check-in.

Meals: Dinner

Day 3 Nairobi - Aberdare National Park
Today we will shuttle about 60 miles to the north of Nairobi towards Aberdare National Park to check-in at the Country Club Golf Resort. After lunch, the professional safari guide will escort guests into the central park of the National Park and trek to get close to nature. The Aberdare National Park offers a wide variety of terrain at 6,600 feet above sea level with v-shaped valleys of streams, rivers, and waterfalls, to 13,000-feet mountain peaks of majestic landscapes that almost guarantee spectacular views of the extensive diversity in flora and fauna presence. Return to the hotel after the game drive to relax and enjoy the dinner prepared by the hotel.

Overnight: Aberdare National Park
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch,  and Dinner

Day 4 Aberdare National Park-Maasai Mara National Reserve
Today guests will be transferred to the magical Maasai Mara. Also simply known as The Mara, it is a large game reserve in Narok County in Kenya, and it is contiguous with the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania. It is world-renowned for its exceptional populations of lions, leopards, cheetahs and elephants, zebras, gazelles, and antelopes, embarking on the famous annual Great Migration to and from the Serengeti. The game drives will be conducted to get close to the wild animals in their natural environment where guests may feel as outnumbered and being observed instead. The return to the comforts of the accommodation after the game drives is to relax and to enjoy the local food.

Overnight: Maasai Mara
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 7 Mombasa
Guests will enjoy the full day at own leisure. The city is next to the Indian Ocean with a fantastic view of the vastness of the turquoise sea. Mombasa is in a Savanna climate and the prevailing southeast wind makes it nice and warm all year round. Under the blue sky, its quiet coastline, the milk-white sandy beaches, and the quaint cityscapes make this a fascinating and tranquil place for leisure relaxation especially after the intensive safari drives in previous days. Once ruled by the Portuguese, Omani, and the British in recent times, Mombasa was the important port for trades in spice, gold, and ivory in the pre-modern period. Today, the city is still Kenya's only large seaport and a major trade center. It has now expanded its economy to the manufacturing of garments and footwear, telecommunication services, coastal tourism, and being a major oil refinery in the region.

Overnight: Mombasa
