We have many early mornings and long bus rides necessary to cover the territory. Some of our tours require walking over uneven surfaces or up and down steep slopes or steps. Day 2  Honolulu, Hawaii
We shall start early in the morning to visit the Pearl Harbor National Memorial to learn more about the most pivotal moments in U.S. history that got the United States to actively engage in the Pacific Theater of World War Two – the attack on Pearl Harbor. It is here that the Japanese Imperial Army launched a surprise attack on many anchored U.S. battleships and caused many lives lost. Depending on the ticket availability, which is distributed on a timed first-come request basis, visit the U.S.S. Arizona Memorial where 1,177 sailors and marines were killed with a boat ride to the now solemn symbol of the calamity of war. After the Pearl Harbor visit, the Honolulu city tour begins with the ride passing famous landmarks and historical buildings in the city, including the oldest 200-year-old Chinatown where the statue of Sun Yat-Sen stood, and the full-size bronze replica of the greatest ruler of Hawaiian history, King Kamehameha the Great, iconic government structures, and visiting a Hawaiian product exhibition. The tour finishes before noon and the rest of the day will be at your own leisure or join one of the optional programs listed below.

Hanauma Bay Snorkeling Tour

If you're snorkeling in Hawaii – on Oahu, specifically – chances are you’re snorkeling in the Hanauma Bay Nature Preserve. This spectacular marine life sanctuary, formed by an ancient volcano and ringed by a white coral sand beach, draws about 3,000 visitors daily. That makes it the most popular snorkeling destination on the island.

When snorkeling in this scenic hotspot, you’ll encounter a dazzling array of tropical fish inhabiting a fragile coral reef. To understand what you’re seeing, pick up a laminated fish ID card bearing photos of exotic marine life. This colorful card is produced by the University of Hawaii Sea Grant College Program.

Also, take care to avoid stepping on coral formations. That coral is alive, and it sustains all the fish, sea urchins, eels and other marine creatures inhabiting the bay.
