Is This Trip Right for You?

This is an active trip. Our tour group covers a lot of ground each day, and we spend two to three hours on our feet during tours. The pace is fast. We have many early mornings and long bus rides necessary to cover the territory. Some of our tours require walking over uneven surfaces or up and down steep slopes or steps. This tour is not recommended for people who have difficulty walking. This is a Bilingual Group Tour program. For more information, please consult with our travel advisors.

Day 1 Arrive in Seattle or Vancouver
If you arrive in Seattle Tacoma Airport:
Quick Shuttle Bus Schedule from Seattle Airport to Vancouver departs at 1:00 PM from SEA. The cost for Quick Shuttle Bus is CAD $59 for one way or $99 for round trip per person. please visit www.quickcoach.com for details.

If you arrive in Vancouver Airport:
If you are flying to Vancouver with a domestic flight, please wait for our tour guide at Baggage Claim #3; If you are flying in with an international flight, please wait for the tour guide at the travel info center in the lobby next to the exit.

The free shuttle bus will leave Vancouver airport at 9 AM, 11 AM, 1 PM, 3 PM, 5 PM, and 8 PM.

Day 2 Vancouver – Hope – Kamloops - Revelstoke/Golden
Departure from Vancouver in the morning travel alongside the beautiful Fraser River and arrive at Kamloops to have lunch. Kamloops is where British Columbia’s famous Ginseng field is located. Guests will have the opportunity to visit the Ginseng factory for about 45 minutes. It is only here that you can learn all about the cultivation of Ginseng and its curative effects. Guests also have an opportunity to sample authentic Ginseng tea at this cultivation plant. Depart for Salmon Bay in the afternoon where there will be about 30 minutes/ rest stop for a photo opportunity. Next, head towards Pacific Railway Park for a 30-minute visit of the “Last Spike” which runs through the junction of the Pacific Railway between Canada’s east and west coasts.

Day 3 Jasper National Park - Columbia Icefield - Kananaskis
Head to Peyto Lake via Icefield Parkway in the morning, afterward go to Jasper National Park where the group will have a 3-hour break to take in the scenic views and ride the Icefield Snow Coach (optional tour, needs to be pre-paid) to watch the Columbia Icefields. This is a 10,000-year-old ice area of 125 square miles, with its deepest ice 186 miles and the highest 2.3 miles. Guests can personally touch glaciers and enjoy the photo opportunity here. Then guests can go to Skywalk (optional tour, needs to be pre-paid) and relish at the glacier valley. There is also the Rocky Mountains landmark glass bridge at 918 feet high. Later head to the beautiful Peyto Lake and stays for about 30 minutes to enjoy the scenery. Then the tour moves on to the famous Banff town. Banff Avenue in town is lined with gift shops and many retailers selling different flavors of food.

Day 4 Banff National Park (Bow Falls/ Sulphur Mountain/Lake Louise/ Moraine Lake) - Vernon
Visit Banff Sulfur Mountain, then take the Banff Gondola (Optional tour, needs to be pre-paid) to have the Rocky Mountain panoramic view (stay about 1 hour). Then visit the famous Bow River Falls, Surprised Corner, overlooking the majestic Spa Hotel Castle. Then visit the Moraine Lake (stay for about 45 minutes). Moraine Lake is recognized by the world as the most picturesque lake. Then go to Lake Louise (stay about 1.5 hours) and followed by Yoho National Park, visit Emerald Lake and Natural Bridge (stay for about 1 hour). Then go to Rogers Pass in the Glacier National Park, the route was built at the Rogers Valley Gorge in 1885. The construction of the Rogers Gap has opened up the east and west of Canada and has far-reaching implications for Canada's development. After the visit to the town of Vernon.

Day 5 Vernon – Kelowna – Merritt - Vancouver
In the morning, spend 45 minutes visiting the famous Vernon local beekeeping farm and taste different flavors of natural honey or choose the best royal jelly. Then visit Kalamalka Lake for about 10 minutes, and then head to Kelowna, British Columbia's hometown of fruit. Move on next to Okanagan Lake for the Ogopogo of the mythology of Indians where the group stays for about 30 minutes. Visit the prestigious VQA winery in this area for about an hour, sample and taste the red and white wines. Seize the opportunity to purchase of the world-famous Canadian Ice Wine here. Travel to Merritt for quick rest, then return to Vancouver by the end of the day.

Day 6 Vancouver – Victoria – Vancouver
BC Ferry is heading to Victoria, the capital of the British Columbia Province. Along the Strait of Georgia, guests can indulge the food while enjoying the strait and along with the island scenery on the well-equipped luxury ferry. Visit Butchart Gardens on the island of Victoria – a National Historic Site of Canada that is internationally well-known as a public attraction opened to visitors since 1904. The designated area of the gardens occupies approximately 13 acres and corresponds to the areas developed under the guidance of Jennie Butchart. The gardens provide dramatic floral displays in a variety of garden settings and styles set against a backdrop of mature trees and shrubs and linked together by a network of paths and transition areas. Throughout the garden are viewpoints offering glimpses of Tod Inlet and the hills beyond.  The quaint Victoria Downtown is a vibrant urban neighborhood, a walkable shopping area, and a thriving entertainment district. Downtown Victoria hosts not only the world-renowned Inner Harbor, Empress Hotel and Legislature Buildings, but also Canada's oldest Chinatown, and a wonderfully charming Old Town district such as Fan Tan Alley. Discover the Mile 0 marker that is the start of the over 5,000 miles of Trans-Canada Highway that spans the entire length of Canada.

Day 7 Depart from Vancouver
Today is the last day of our tour to West Canada. You will have the opportunity to tour all these iconic sightseeing spots in Vancouver, includes: 

  • Chinatown-Canada's largest Chinatown in 2011 was voted Canada's historic site with the Ming Dynasty architectural features Zhong Shan Park
  • Gas Town-Gastown is the original settlement that became the core of the creation of Vancouver, British Columbia. Today, it's a national historic site, at the northeast end of Downtown Vancouver, adjacent to the Downtown Eastside.
  • Canada Place- Canada Place was built in 1986, located in the heart of Vancouver's waterfront, Canada Place is an iconic landmark and venue for world-class events and inspirationally Canadian experiences.
  • Canada Winter Olympic Park-Visitors can take pictures with the 2010 Winter Olympic brazier.
  • Stanley Park-Stanley Park is North America's largest city park. Located on the northwestern edge of downtown Vancouver, Stanley Park is one of the city's main tourist destinations.
  • Capilano Suspension Bridge- (own expanse) Visit the majestic suspension bridge. Take the 70-meter-high river and enjoy the old pine-trees on the cliffs. Take a scenic view of the tree-lined cableway and take a stroll through the Cliff Walk.
  • Queen Elizabeth Park- a 130-acre municipal park located in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, on Little Mountain elevation approximately 152 meters above sea level. Its surface was scarred at the turn of the twentieth century when it was quarried for its rock, which served to build Vancouver's first roadways.
