Daily Itinerary Day 1 Depart for Beijing, China
Board your international flight bound for China from your select international gateway.
Arrival Day Day 2 Arrival in Beijing, China(SD)
Upon arrival, you will be greeted by our local tour guide at the airport and transferred to your hotel. Time to rest, relax and acclimate to your new time zone. In the evening, you will enjoy an authentic Peking Duck Banquet (welcome dinner).

Daily Itinerary Day 3 Beijing(AB, L,D)
In the morning, we will tour the vast Tiananmen Square, the largest city square in the world. Then, we will visit the imperial Forbidden City, the largest and best-preserved imperial palace, constructed in 1420. Next, we will explore Beijing’s hutongs—lanes or alleys formed by lines of traditional courtyard homes (siheyuan). These one-story, four-sided dwellings make up old Beijing and showcase typical Chinese residential architecture. Exploring the hutongs can be challenging if you are unfamiliar with the layout, but you can take a rickshaw ride through the narrow alleys. A visit to a local hutong family will be specially arranged. You will have the opportunity to talk with residents and enjoy lunch there, offering a glimpse into Beijing’s past. Then we will experience the Chinese Opera mask-making.

Painting Chinese Opera masks is an important part of traditional Chinese culture. Chinese Opera has a history of over 100 years and is considered a national treasure of China. The colors and patterns on the masks represent different character traits. For example, yellow represents bravery, black represents justice, red represents loyalty, and white represents treachery. This activity will give you a hands-on experience of Chinese culture.

Daily Itinerary Day 4 Beijing(AB, L,D)
This morning, you will visit the Great Wall of China (Mutianyu Section)(cable car up, toboggan down optional), one of the country's most famous tourist attractions and one of the greatest man-made wonders of the world. It runs about 5,500 miles through 150 different counties. After that drive to heading to visit Changling Tomb, the largest and best preserved of 13 Ming Tombs. The Sacred Way inside the gate of the Ming Tomb is lined with 18 pairs of stone human figures and animals. These include four each of three types of officials: civil, military and meritorious officials, symbolizing those who assist the emperor in the administration of the state, plus four each of six tiypes of animals: lion, griffin, camel, elephant, unicorn and horse.In the evening explore Wangfujing Snack Street.

Daily Itinerary Day 5 Beijing-Xian (AB, L,D)
Today, you will take high-speed train to Xian. Upon arrival in Xi'an, you'll be greeted by our tour guide and transferred to visit the Ancient City Wall of Xian, one of the existing best preserved city walls in China, and one of the largest ancient military defensive systems in the world.Enjoy riding a bike(Optional) in the Xian ancient city wall . Then you will have dinner[hand-pulled noodles (biangbiang Noodles ), roujiamo (Chinese burger)].Evening experience the vibrant atmosphere of the The Grand Tang Mall.

Daily Itinerary Day 6 Xi'an(AB, L, D)
A full day of school exchange activities. At the school, students will have the opportunity to interact with local Chinese students and teachers. A tour of the school will be guided by students and teachers, and we will also arrange traditional Chinese lessons.

Daily Itinerary Day 7 Xi'an (AB, L,D)
In 221 BC, Qin Shi Huang unified China and became the first emperor. When he died, an entire Terra Cotta Army was constructed to be buried along with the emperor. It was uncovered serendipitously in 1974 by farmers, and then became one of the century's greatest archaeological discoveries. You will visit the Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses Museum. Then you will enjoy Terracotta warriors D.I.Y, Go to the workshop of the terracotta warriors factory, the craftsman will teach you how to make the terracotta warriors.
After lunch,learn Gao’s Courtyard,Go to the 400 years old Gao’s Courtyard and watch the Chinese traditional shadow puppet show, and you can learn how to play the shadow puppet show there. The evening is also well prepared for you – a delicious Chinese Dumpling Banquet. Enjoy your night!

In the morning you will be transferred to Xi'an train station and take high-speed train to Shanghai.Upon arrival in Shanghai, The highlights of today's sightseeing tour include the Yuyuan Garden, Shanghai's old Street.

The highlights of today's sightseeing tour is Shanghai Tower (world’s fastest elevator, observation deck).This afternoon, the Xintiandi and Lujiazui, explore the colonial styled Bund.
Evening: Optional Huangpu River Night Cruise (LED skyline)at $35.

Daily Itinerary Day 10 Shanghai (AB, L, D)
After breakfast, take a flight to Shanghai. Upon your arrival at Shanghai, our guide will pick you up and drive to Zhujiajiao. Prepare yourself for a step back in time as today’s exploration takes you to the ancient water town with its 1,700 year history. While there will be an opportunity to wander, you’ll also have the chance to meander through the ancient village in a row boat if you choose (optional activity). A stark contrast to the contemporary high-rises of central Shanghai, Zhujiajiao Water Town offers an insight to what life was once like.
