Today, you'll explore why Angkor Thom and Angkor Wat are celebrated as one of the "Seven Wonders of the World." This ancient city, once home to over a million people at the height of the Khmer Empire, showcases incredible architectural achievements. Begin your visit at Angkor Thom, a fortified city with the majestic Elephants Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King, both adorned with dramatic bas-reliefs. Continue to the Ta Prohm, where the jungle has been left to envelop the ruins as it did when European explorers first encountered it. Afterwards, make a brief stop at the Angkor Silk Farm and a local handicraft workshop to admire traditional Angkor-style craftsmanship. The highlight of your day will be a visit to Angkor Wat, dedicated to the Hindu god Vishnu. Famous for its grandeur and beauty, Angkor Wat features the world’s longest continuous bas-relief, which narrates Hindu mythology along the outer gallery walls.

Day 10 Hanoi- Halong Bay-Hanoi
Today, incredible sights await you! Halong Bay, often hailed as one of the most stunning places on the planet, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the “New Seven Natural Wonders of the World.” The bay boasts over 3,000 islands set in emerald waters, with more than 1,000 islands bearing their own names. Numerous caves and grottos of various sizes are adorned with small waterfalls, stalactites, and stalagmites. Enjoy a cruise on a traditional wooden boat through the tranquil bay, with lunch served on board. Along the way, we’ll stop at an embroidery shop (or a local Sea-Pearl Farm). Vietnamese handicrafts, such as embroidery and batik, are distinctive and reflect Vietnam’s rich traditional culture, making them excellent choices for gifts.

Have breakfast and check out for a walk along the village to enjoy the fresh air in the morning before you arrive at the local workshop to see how to make rice paper, coconut candy, and pop-rice while enjoying some sweets with a cup of hot tea. Continue with a boat trip to visit the brick kilns where you can see how the local people create beautiful potteries from clay. Then, go along the floating village to witness the process of farming catfish on Mekong river. Also, you can visit Vinh Long market in the town. This is the best choice for you to take pictures of fish, shrimps, prawns, crabs, snakes, rice-field rats, tropical fruits, vegetables... End the cruise in Vinh Long and return to Ho Chi Minh City.
