Kalamalka Lake

Bow Lake
Bow Lake is located approximately 30 minutes north of Lake Louise and off the Icefields Parkway (Hwy 93) in the Canadian Rockies. It is half a mile north of the Crowfoot Glacier. It sits at an elevation of 1,920 m (6,300 ft) and is one of the largest lakes at the Banff National Park. It is fed by the meltwater from the Bow Glacier in the Wapta Icefield. In the morning, we will go to Kamloops, the hometown of American ginseng in the north of the Okanagan Valley. The name of the city comes from the Indian word "Cumcloups", reflecting that the city is located at the confluence of two tributaries of the Thompson River. Then we will go to the gold rush town of Hope, where Stallone's movie "First Blood" was filmed. This was the only way for gold diggers back then. Finally, we will return to Vancouver along the scenic Fraser Valley Highway, ending this pleasant journey.

You'll visit Canada's oldest Chinatown and trace the footsteps of Canada's first Chinese laborers. Then, we'll explore Victoria's picturesque Inner Harbour and visit the Highway 1 kilometer zero monument. Afterward, we'll return to Vancouver.

The BC Ferry is the primary mode of transportation from Vancouver to Victoria.
